Europe
is my favourite part of the world that I have visited. I especially
love Switzerland and the Alps. There certainly is a wonderful
variety of cultures, people, landscapes, architecture, languages,
accents, food and so much more throughout Europe. From the incredible
palaces and chateaus of France to the beautiful Alps with its
old world villages to Venice and the magnificent Italian Riviera,
Europe is a very special and romantic (not to mention expensive)
place to visit.
My
first true visit to Europe (excluding England) was in 1999 ( I
spent a night in Zurich in 1994). During that 1999 trip I spent
two weeks touring Europe with a couple of friends. For a mere
couple of weeks we were amazed at how much we fit in and how lucky
we were that the weather was so kind to us.
One
of my goals is to develop an on-the-side business as a professional
panoramic photographer and with a professional panoramic camera
capture the beauty of Europe, Australia and North America and
sell commercially many of the best photos.
In
February 2007 I moved to England after being offered a 2 year
work transfer with the software company I work for. This is a
very exciting opportunity for me to build up my photography portfolio
over the coming couple of years. Since I moved over I have had
the opportunity to visit Switzerland, France, Belgium, Holland
and Greece. I am planning on visiting Italy, France and Switzerland
in the next few months and also have a trip to Austria, Bavaria,
Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland planned for next year. Hopefully
I will be allowed to extend my work visa and see some more of
Europe beyond that.
I
will be updating this Europe gallery on a regular basis as I build
up my collection of Europe photos so watch this space. I hope
that you enjoy my Europe photo gallery
